Rebecca Wiltberger

I have been creating beauty and seeking to understand the world via the visual arts since childhood. As owner and designer of the custom sewing company “The Artisanal Cloth” for seven years, I created fiber art pieces as well as custom clothing and other fiber based projects. I have won awards for several pieces and have also used my skill to create banners and liturgical decorations for my worshipping community, as well as practical pieces for friends, family and people in need.

My calling in life is to promote Shalom (wholeness, completeness and all the fullness of peace that comes with total reconciliation with God and community) in my community, primarily through teaching and hospitality. I consider the act of creative expression an opportunity to engage others at the heart level to consider the truth about God, creation, and the community at large. It is my pleasure to put these skills to use to draw attention to the modern-day injustice of human trafficking.
